First Words

I did title this entry "First Words", but it's not about my child learning how to talk or anything like that. I don't even have a child. But I can talk--not that the point holds much value for anyone reading this--and I can also write. And these are the first words that I've written online. I'm new to this blogging thing, although I've been lurking around friends' blogs and scoping it out.

Well, honestly, I've been going to my boyfriend's blog and clicking on all the links that his friends have posted. You know, getting the real scoop, and this kind of got me in trouble the other day. He and I met some of his friends the other day. The guy we were talking to looked familiar to me, but I couldn't figure out why. Thank God that I didn't mention anything when I finally realized where I knew him from because I would've sounded like a stalker (which is kind of true, I guess). I recognized him from when I'd been surfing on my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend's blog!
Jeez. What a weirdo.

That's what you get for doing sneaky research. You can't have a normal conversation with anyone new because you don't remember which things you're supposed to know about them and which things you got from stalking. It's dangerous to learn things from the internet--Beware! (Or maybe just don't be a freak like me, getting all up in other people's internet space.)
